- Organizational and Communication skills – This position encompasses a wide variety of administrative, financial, facilities, and custodial responsibilities in addition to coordination and interaction with multiple volunteer support groups.
- Technical ability – While we have contractors handle the heavy lifting for equipment maintenance, the Building Manger will need to support basic monitoring of the Church mechanical systems.
- Physical capability – In addition to administrative tasks, the Building Manager is expected to provide hands-on support for spot cleaning during the week, be available to assist with moving deliveries, packages, and supplies, as well as assistance with set-up/take-down of tables & chairs during Church functions.
- Stewardship and Servant minded perspective – Supporting the Church and our greater Mission is most important of all. We are looking for someone who is eager to join our team and walk with us on this journey.
We will provide training and an extensive support network for the position; potential candidates are encouraged to talk with us to better understand what we have to offer.
Our staff, congregants, and a variety of outside organizations rely on the building to be safe, clean, comfortable, and accessible. The Board of Trustees are responsible for the building and ensure it meets these needs through various contractors, volunteers, and the Building Manager. We envision the Building Manager position will require 25-30 hours per week and will pay approximately $22.00 per hour depending on the candidate. We have created a detailed list of all associated responsibilities that will be provided upon request.
